Yi-Hsun Chen completed his PhD at the Monash University and joined Superconducting Quantum Devices Lab in 2024 as a postdoc. His current research project is to pursue high-performance superconducting quantum devices using surface and interface engineering strategies. His PhD thesis, “Studies of spatial- and momentum-indirect excitons in two-dimensional semiconductors and relevance to exciton condensation”, focuses on electrical transport and optical properties of 2D semiconductor heterostructures. Before his PhD, he completed his bachelor and master degree in Taiwan. You can find him on a mountain (snowboarding), on a beach (surfing), wandering on street (photography), and at basketball court.
